I really liked these lesson plans because in them the students learned that the foreign language is not only for academic subjects. One of these plans was based on the use of language in business and the advantages offered by language proficiency. The other plan I liked because the students knew about a Japanese social problem called Hikikomori. They compared it with the personal situations of each and gave their point of view and expressed their feelings on this issue.
